And it's back to e-books I go
While I do enjoy the feel of the paper pages of a traditional reading format between my fingers--And, yes, I do have the nasty habit of dog earing pages when I lack a gum wrapper or some other form of book mark--it is just easier given my current schedule to read a book on the screen of my Palm T/X. It certainly decreases the load I have to carry in my back pack every morning as I trudge the five miles on the way to the bus.
My current e-reads are Anathem by Neil Stephenson and The Magicians and Mrs. Quent by Galen M. Beckett.
I just finished reading Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon--a fairly large book and the main reason I switched to e-books again. I had a heck of a time cramming that book into my pack. Ash by Mary Gentle isn't much easier to fit, and is currently the only paper volume of fiction that I am working my way through.
A couple more advantages I've found to the electronic format is that the screen is lit allowing me to read on a dimly lit morning bus. And, I tend to read faster in this format. I'm not certain why.
